La società di ricerche Idc ha reso noto che le vendite mondiali di pc nel quarto trimestre 2005 sono salite del 17,1%. Solo Usa e Canada hanno registrato un lieve calo. In testa alle vendite ci sono Dell (+20,1%), Hewlett-Packard (+15,8) e la cinese Lenovo, che ha acquistato il settore pc di Ibm (+12,6%). Apple ha guadagnato solo lo 0,9% sul trimestre.
